Report: Arizona Cardinals' Chris Johnson suffers fractured tibia

Arizona Cardinals running back Chris Johnson could reportedly miss the rest of the season after fracturing his tibia.

Arizona Cardinals running back Chris Johnson has been ruled out indefinitely due to a fractured tibia, according to a report.

The 30-year-old sustained the injury in the third quarter of his side's victory over the San Francisco 49ers when he attempted a run through the middle.

Bruce Arians's men are considering placing Johnson on season-ending injured reserve, but will wait until they receive a final diagnosis on the injury, reports Fox Sports.

Johnson has rushed for 814 yards and three touchdowns this season.
