Baltimore Ravens' Timmy Jernigan: "I want to go to the Pro Bowl this year"

Baltimore Ravens defensive end Timmy Jernigan targets more involvement in his second season, following 330 snaps in his rookie year.

Baltimore Ravens defensive end Timmy Jernigan has admitted that he is aiming for the Pro Bowl this season, in just his second NFL campaign.

The 22-year-old only started three games in his rookie campaign, but he is expected to replace Haloti Ngata in the thick of the action this year.

He told The Baltimore Sun: "Man, I definitely want to have bigger numbers than last year and I want to go to the Pro Bowl. Ain't no other way to put it. I just want to prove to people that I can play the run as well."

Jernigan played in 330 snaps last season.
