The Baltimore Ravens have released eight players to reach the NFL requirement of 53 men on their roster.
Headlining the cuts was wide receiver Tandon Doss, who was drafted in the fourth round of the 2010 draft but failed to make the grade at the club in his three years with John Harbaugh's side.
The Ravens also released Omar Brown, Bobby Rainey, Billy Bajema, Matt Furstenburg, Cody Larsen, Joe Unga and Antoine McClain.
Harbaugh's side face the Denver Broncos in their season opener next Thursday.
