The Buffalo Bills cancelled practice for a second consecutive day on Thursday as the region continues to struggle with the snow.
Buffalo are scheduled to play against the New York Jets on Sunday and they enlisted the aid of locals to help shovel out the Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Both teams must know by Friday if their game on Sunday will proceed as planned, according to NFL.com.
The NFL has announced that it will continue to work with the Bills and local authorities in the meantime, although New York Governor Andrew Cuomo insisted that it would be "impractical" to play the game.
Coach Doug Marrone and his staff spent time at the team's facility and spent Wednesday taping segments of their gameplan and distributed it to their players digitally.
