Josh McCown won't rule out Chicago Bears exit

Chicago Bears quarterback Josh McCown says that he would like to stay next season but cannot rule out a move away.

Chicago Bears quarterback Josh McCown has admitted that he would be open to leaving the club should he receive a more lucrative offer from another NFL team.

McCown, who played more games in 2013 than he did in the previous four seasons combined, said that ideally he would want to stay in Chicago but admitted that his good season does give him "leverage" in the free agency market.

"It's hard to want to be anywhere else," he told the Chicago Tribune. "But the balance of that, too, is our reality. This is probably going to be the last time I stand in free agency with this kind of leverage.

"So there's an understanding of an opportunity here to gain some more resources both to take care of our family and to do more good with. I have to be willing to go somewhere else, if that's how it breaks."

McCown finished last season with a QB rating of 109.
