Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has revealed that he is ready for action if called upon in his side's 2014 season opener.
Manziel will serve as backup behind Brian Hoyer for the campaign despite being picked in the first round of the 2014 Draft by the club earlier this year.
However, the 21-year-old has insisted that he will be prepared to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers should he be asked.
"I have to be [ready]," Manziel told the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "I think that's what these coaches have asked of me, so I've been tuned in all week."
The Browns face the Steelers in their AFC North clash tomorrow.
