Reggie Bush has said that there is no reason for the Detroit Lions not to have the top-ranked offense in the NFL in the 2013 season.
The running back joined the NFC North side earlier this year, where he is now teammates with receiving yards record-holder Calvin Johnson.
The 28-year-old told the team's official website: "Getting to know my teammates, I'm not finding anything I didn't already know or expect. [Quarterback Matthew] Stafford, he's great. He has a really strong arm. He seems like a very good leader. Seems like he has all the intangibles that you need in your quarterback.
"Calvin Johnson's a beast. Nate Burleson's another guy that's a vet and seems like a leader and a hard worker. Again, another good player.
"Honestly, I believe there's no excuse for us not to have the number one-ranked offense. We have all the right pieces and the necessary players here to be the top offense in the league. No excuse."
The Lions finished last in their division last season.
