Detroit Lions legend Barry Sanders has said that his old team are "lucky" to have undrafted running back Joique Bell in their team.
The promising youngster finished last season with a record of 1,197 yards rushing and receiving, as well as eight touchdowns, having played a supporting role to first-team player Reggie Bush.
"I think we're definitely lucky to have Joique," said Sanders, according to NFL.com.
"He has a great style. Physical. And he stays within himself. He's gotten a lot of great yards and really been an asset to the offense.
"He's carved out a niche for himself in this offense with Reggie Bush, and I really do enjoy watching him play. Great story."
The Lions finished last season in third place in the NFC Northern Division, with a record of 7-9.
