The Houston Texans fail to score a touchdown in their third loss of the season.

The Minnesota Vikings kept their chances of making the playoffs alive with a 23-6 win over the Houston Texans.

Matt Schaub completed only 18 of 32 passes, and was unable to find the end zone, before T.J. Yates took over the throwing duties in the fourth quarter for the AFC's top seeds.

Touchdowns from Toby Gerhart and Kyle Rudolph helped the Vikings to the win, along with a strong kicking performance from Blair Walsh.

Adrian Peterson continued his good rushing form, adding another 86 yards to his total for the season.

The loss means the Texans were unable to seal home field advantage this weekend, while the Vikings hold on to the sixth place in the NFC.
