Bruce Arians has said that he saw a "great improvement" in Andrew Luck in the 2013 NFL season.
The Indianapolis Colts quarterback completed 3,822 passing yards in his second season in the league, as well as leading the team to the divisional round of the playoffs.
The Arizona Cardinals head coach, who was the Colts' offensive coordinator in 2012, told reporters: "I saw great improvement this year.
"I thought he carried the team to the playoffs. His performance in the playoffs was one of the best I've ever seen."
Luck was the first pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.
