Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has echoed owner Jim Irsay's calls for better protection of quarterback Andrew Luck.
Irsay took to Twitter to "demand" that his side take more care of their quarterback after Luck was sacked four times in their 21-17 win against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
Pagano further stressed the importance of defending their star asset and reassured Irsay that his message was being drilled into his side during training.
"That's every week, you know. That's [emphasized in] all of our offices and every office up and down the hallway," Pagano told reporters.
"We all know that as long as No. 12 [Luck] is upright and on his feet, we've got a much better chance of winning with him."
The Colts will look to continue their winning start to the new season when they take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
