Andrew Luck has said that the Indianapolis Colts missed opportunities during their playoff game against the New England Patriots.
The AFC South side missed out on a place in the conference championship game after being beaten 43-22 last night.
The quarterback told the team's official website: "We had our opportunities. We just couldn't get over that hump. [We had] some big plays, but they weren't enough, which is unfortunate and disappointing. We had our chances.
"They do a good job of disrupting timing and rhythm and getting hands on guys. [They had a] good, relentless pass rush. I thought our o-line did a great job this game, giving [me] time to get balls out. They do a good job of disrupting things, to encapsulate it in one sentence."
Luck threw four interceptions and was sacked three times during the defeat.
