Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew has revealed that he is "fine" with the decision of the club to allow him to test the free agent market.
The 28-year-old has struggled for form in his last two years with the Jaguars as he has also sustained injuries, which has played a huge part in his diminished production.
"I'm fine with it," Jones-Drew told the Florida Times-Union. "I kind of figured that because we didn't talk throughout the year. That's part of the business.
"There's no hard feelings. I gave everything I could to the organization. I appreciate them giving me that opportunity. Wherever I go next year, they'll have a person ready to play at a high level."
Jones-Drew has been with the club since he was drafted by them in 2006.
