New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount has revealed that he is excited to take part in the first playoff campaign of his career, which starts with a divisional-round clash against the Indianapolis Colts.
Blount did not get beyond the regular season in his three years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but having got there with the Patriots, he has said that he will be giving even more to succeed.
"The playoffs are – this is my first rodeo," he told the club's official website. "This is my first post-season, so I'm going to approach it a lot differently to most people.
"This is win or go home, rather than the regular season where you win and you get another chance next week. This is win or go home, so I feel like everybody's supposed to approach it a lot differently."
Blount rushed for 772 from 153 attempts through the regular season.
