Tom Brady is back at practice with the New England Patriots after struggling with a shoulder injury earlier in the week.

Tom Brady has returned to practice with the New England Patriots after missing a session earlier this week.

The Patriots said that their quarterback was carrying a right shoulder injury, preventing him from taking to the field on Wednesday.

It is understood that the 35-year-old's absence was mainly a precaution, after he threw 65 passes in New England's loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

The Patriots play the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend.
