Tom Brady wants to give MVP truck to Malcolm Butler

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady admits that he is looking into giving the truck awarded to him for being Super Bowl MVP to teammate Malcolm Butler.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has revealed that he wants to give the truck awarded to him for being Super Bowl MVP to teammate Malcolm Butler.

The rookie cornerback made the game-winning interception for the Patriots on the goalline to secure the club's fourth Vince Lombardi trophy with a narrow win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Brady was named Super Bowl MVP for the third time in his career for his four-touchdown display and with it was given a new truck, but he has admitted that he is going to do everything in his power to give it to Butler.

"A guy like Malcolm who makes that type of instinctive, quick play, that's one of his strong suits," Brady told WEEI.

"I don't think it surprised any of us players, because that's really what his skill set is. A lot of people didn't get to see that over the course of the season.

"It comes off as a great play, which it really was, obviously the biggest time of the year. Someone had to make a play. It happened to be Malcolm. I would love to give him the truck. I would love to do that. I'm going to figure out how to make that work."

Butler joined the Patriots last year as an undrafted free agent out of West Alabama.
