Brandin Cooks using Antonio Brown advice to improve

New Orleans Saints wideout Brandin Cooks reveals that he is using the advice of All-Pro Antonio Brown to improve the level of his game for his second year in the NFL.

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Brandin Cooks has admitted that he was constantly in the ear of Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Antonio Brown last year in an attempt to improve his game.

The 21-year-old was selected in the first round of 2014 Draft by the Saints, but injuries limited his impact as the NFC South side struggled throughout the season.

However, Cooks is determined to improve in his second year in the league by using the advice of the All-Pro, with whom he built up a friendship in his rookie campaign.

"Throughout the season I would just text him, you know, ask him questions," Cooks told Grit Media. "How'd you get your [footwork] so good? How do you get in and out of your breaks so well? How do you separate from defenders so well?

"I'm trying to get better. I want to learn from the best, and those who are doing it at such a high level, pick their brain and see what they do differently from everyone else."

Cooks recorded 623 yards from scrimmage for the Saints last season, scoring four touchdowns.
