Legendary wide receiver Jerry Rice has jokingly warned Deion Sanders that he will regret challenging him to return to action for this year's Pro Bowl.
Sanders made an "official announcement" on Twitter to tell his followers that he would be playing in this year's Pro Bowl having been named as a team captain, before challenging opposing captain Rice to do the same.
Rice replied that he would be open to suiting up again to face Sanders and warned that it would be "very painful" for his fellow Hall of Famer.
"Deion I would beat you down like the old days! We can suit up but it would be very painful for you!" Rice wrote on Twitter.
Rice is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in NFL history, winning three Super Bowls and being picked for 13 Pro Bowls during his illustrious career.
