Tony Sparano has been hired an assistant head coach and offensive line coach by the Oakland Raiders.
The former Miami Dolphins head coach has been out of work since being fired from his role as offensive coordinator at the New York Jets earlier this month.
The Raiders also fired their offensive coordinator after the end of the regular season, having finished as the 28th-ranked offense in the 32-team league.
Oakland finished the season third in the AFC West, winning four games and losing 12.
