Ben Roethlisberger hails "awesome" win

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger admits that it felt "awesome" to launch a late comeback to beat the Detroit Lions yesterday.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has described his side's victory over the Detroit Lions yesterday as "awesome".

Roethlisberger threw four touchdown passes, including two in the final quarter, to seal a dramatic 37-27 win for his side, the 31st comeback victory of his career.

The result came at the end of a week in which the 31-year-old had angrily denied speculation linking him with a trade away from the team, and the quarterback admitted that it was pleasing to win in such a fashion.

"It feels awesome to win it the way we did," Roethlisberger told The AP.

The result leaves the Steelers in a three-way tie for second in the AFC North, level with the Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns.
