San Diego Chargers linebacker Manti Te'o has revealed that the return of teammate Donald Butler from injury is helping his development.
The Chargers' second-round pick from the 2013 Draft was thrown right into the middle of the action after Butler sustained a groin injury and was out of three games.
"When Donald was out, it was the biggest growing part for me, not having him in there to tell me what to do, to make sure that I knew what I was I doing – (having) to really learn it by myself," Te'o told the San Diego Union-Tribune.
"Now that Donald's back in there, I have all that knowledge now, and then he just adds the little things, the little things that help me make certain plays. He has the experience; he has the knowledge."
The Chargers face the Miami Dolphins on Sunday in their week 11 clash.
