Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has insisted that his side's focus for this week will be solely on preparations for Sunday's Super Bowl.
The Super Bowl is always accompanied by a massive amount of media attention, something that the Seahawks may not be used to with just one player on their roster having reached the showpiece event before.
However, Wilson has revealed that head coach Pete Carroll had warned his side of the increased attention and distractions, and believes that they will not take their eye off the ultimate goal of winning on Sunday.
"Coach Carroll told us there would be distractions and a lot of media. But all year, our focus has been to do everything we can to prepare properly. Now we're here, and we believe we were meant to be here," Wilson told reporters.
The Seahawks will face the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII at the MetLife Stadium.
