The St Louis Rams have reportedly released linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar after he was suspended by the NFL for breaking their policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
Dunbar was due to miss the first four games of the season for violating the the league's rules on PED's, much to the fury of head coach Jeff Fisher.
The Rams acted swiftly to cut the linebacker, despite him being an integral part of the team last season, as he started all 16 games, according to NFL.com.
St Louis face the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday in their season opener.
