Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Gerald McCoy: 'We have to make teams fear us'

Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy urges his teammates to make Raymond James Stadium an imposing place for opposing teams to play in the 2015 season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy has called on his defensive teammates to make Raymond James Stadium a place to fear for opposing teams.

The Buccaneers have won just six matches in the past two seasons, and were the worst team in the NFL in the 2014 campaign, earning them the first overall pick in the 2015 Draft.

McCoy has urged his side to become a physical team at home in order to improve their overall record and get back into the playoffs.

"When the ball is thrown or the ball commits, all 11 hats to the ball," McCoy told reporters. "Those guys just swarm the ball and if you're not careful with the ball they'll take it from you.

"That has to be our identity and we have to make people fear coming to [Raymond James Stadium]."

The Buccaneers last reached the post-season in the 2007 campaign.
