Defensive back Dashon Goldson has been traded from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Washington Redskins.
The 30-year-old had been with the Buccaneers for two seasons following his move from the San Francisco 49ers, but struggled to replicate his Pro Bowl form with the NFC South outfit.
The Redskins sent a selection in the sixth round of the 2016 Draft to acquire Goldson and also received a seventh-round pick back from the Buccaneers, who will save $4m (£2.7m) against their salary cap with the move.
Goldson has recorded 499 tackles, three sacks and 15 interceptions in his eight-year NFL career.
