Yohan Blake could reportedly receive a fine for wearing a watch during the semi-finals and final of the men's 100m at the London Olympics.
The timepiece in question was made by designer Richard Mille and is believed to be worth in excess of £300,000.
However, the International Olympic Committee have strict guidelines as to what athletes can and cannot wear while competing. As it stands, competitors are only allowed to wear items that are part of their country's sponsored apparel.
With that in mind, the IOC will now launch an investigation, which could result in the 22-year-old being punished financially, according to TNT Magazine.
The Jamaican sprinter claimed a silver medal while wearing the watch on his right wrist.
