Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt believes that he can record a 200m world season's best in Oslo this week.

Olympic champion Usain Bolt believes that he is capable of recording a 200m world season's best in the Bislett Games on Thursday.

The 26-year-old will head into the Oslo race following a defeat to American Justin Gatlin in the 100m in Rome last week.

"During the season, none of the 200m runners have gone below 20 seconds so it would be nice to break 20 seconds," Bolt told Reuters. "I think I'm in shape, I felt good during training today. I think I can get below 20 seconds, no problem."

Bolt has since recovered from a hamstring strain he suffered last month.
