Dennis Kimetto breaks marathon world record

Dennis Kimetto becomes the first man to complete a marathon in under two hours and three minutes with victory in Berlin.

Kenyan Dennis Kimetto has broken the marathon world record in Berlin with a time of 2:02:57.

The 30-year-old is the first man to have run a marathon in under two hours and three minutes and broke Wilson Kipsang's record by 26 seconds.

Fellow Kenyan Emmanuel Mutai finished in second with a time of 2:03:13.

Kimetto had previously finished second in the 2012 Berlin Marathon.
