Great Britain's Mo Farah eased to victory in the 3000m at the Anniversary Games in London this evening, setting the fastest time in the world this year for the distance.

The double Olympic champion sat behind Kenyan athlete Emmanuel Kipsang for the first 2000m before pulling away in the final couple of laps to take the win in a time of 7:34.66.
The reigning 5000m and 10000m world and European champion, whose coach has recently been the subject of doping allegations, had pace to spare in the final lap, completing the last 400m in 55 seconds.
Morocco's Othmane El Goumri finished second, more than two seconds behind Farah, while Kipsang held on for third.
