Great Britain's Rhys Jones has finished second to last in the men's T37 200m heat, despite a strong start from the 18-year-old.
The teenager got out of the blocks swiftly after receiving a rapturous applause from the crowd in the Olympic Stadium but failed to maintain his form following the bend.
Roman Kapranov clinched the top qualifying spot in heat one with a time of 23.78s, along with China's Shang Guangxu and Venezuela's Omar Monterola.
Jones only managed to record a time of 24.39s.
