Great Britain's Andrew Pozzi is targeting a podium finish in the 60m hurdles at the World Indoor championships after winning his heat in a time of 7.56s.
Pozzi limped out of the London 2012 Olympics after injuring his hamstring and has rarely been seen competing since.
The 21-year-old is now cautiously aiming for a podium place after qualifying joint-fastest and equalling his personal best.
"It's been a while since I've been on tract but it feels pretty good," Pozzi told reporters.
"I lost my rhythm slightly either in to hurdle two or three just because of how quickly I was turning over, so that's very good.
"If I can run technically as my coach wants me to, then that will deliver a medal."
Pozzi was fourth in the Indoor championships two years ago.
