Jo Pavey eyes Olympic Games participation

Forty-one-year-old Jo Pavey expresses her desire to represent Great Britain at the next Olympic Games in Brazil.

Distance runner Jo Pavey has revealed that she would like to represent Great Britain at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The 41-year-old claimed a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow this summer and then went on to win gold at the European Championships 10 days later.

When asked about the future, Pavey admitted that her recent success had convinced her that she can compete in Brazil.

"I want to keep going. I never know when I'm going to retire. I would love to compete in the next Olympics so the last few weeks have given me hope that is a realistic possibility," she told Sky Sports News.

Pavey has previously turned out at four previous Olympic Games, but she has never won a medal.
