Team GB runners Laura Muir and Laura Weightman have both made it safely through to the semi-finals of the women's 1500m at the Rio Olympics.
Muir ran the distance in a time of 4:06.53 in the fastest of the three heats, which was good enough for third place overall from a field of 41 athletes.
Commonwealth silver medallist Weightman, meanwhile, finished seventh in her heat with a time of 4:08.37 but was comfortably through as the 15th fastest overall.
Ethiopia's Dawit Seyaum set the bar in the heats with a time of 4:05.33, more than a second ahead of her nearest competitor, Shannon Rowbury of the USA.
