Mo Farah targeting historic double title win in Beijing

Mo Farah is eyeing another historic double-title win at the World Athletics Championships by adding a gold medal in the 5,000m to his 10,000m title.

Mo Farah has targeted winning a historic double-title win at the World Athletics Championships in Beijing following his triumph in the 10,000m.

The 32-year-old won the 5,000m and 10,000m titles at the 2012 Olympics and then repeated the feat at the World Championships in Moscow in 2013.

Farah now has the opportunity to claim both gold medals again, after his win in the 10,000m, when he competes in the 5,000m next week.

"No-one has done it and it would be amazing to make history," Farah told BBC Sport.

"To win both from Moscow to here would be incredible. It's not going to be easy but it can happen."

Farah's gold medal was Great Britain's first of the World Championships in Beijing.
