Great Britain's Chris O'Hare fails to reach the men's 1500m final at the World Athletics Championships after running out of steam in the semis.

Great Britain's Chris O'Hare has failed to reach the final of the men's 1500m final at the World Athletics Championships in Beijing after running out of steam in the home stretch.

O'Hare kept up with the pace set by Kenya's Asbel Kiprop for the majority of the race and looked comfortable heading into the final lap.

However, in the last 50m, the Brit tired and dropped back down the field to finish seventh in 3:44.36, while Kiprop qualified in first place and New Zealand's Nicholas Willis second.

Britain's Charlie Grice also made it into the showdown after finishing fourth in 3:35.58 in the second semi-final.
