The Atlanta Hawks have announced the signing of Austin Daye on a multi-year contract.

Daye had only recently joined the Hawks on a 10-day deal, and has since averaged three points and 1.4 rebounds in five games with Mike Budenholzer's outfit.

The small forward previously featured for the San Antonio Spurs, where he made 26 games and four starts, before being waived from the side earlier in January.

The 26-year-old was originally drafted by the Detroit Pistons in 2009.
