Brooklyn Nets void Hamady N'Diaye's contract after player fails physical

Brooklyn Nets void the contract of new signing Hamady N'Diaye after the Senegalese star fails a physical at the NBA franchise.

The Brooklyn Nets have voided Hamady N'Diaye's contract after the player failed a physical at the franchise.

The Senegalese international only arrived at the team a few days ago, having posted strong but limited showings in the World Cup of Basketball in Spain.

N'Diaye was originally brought into the league as the 56th Draft pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2010, before being traded straight to the Washington Wizards.

The decision now leaves the Nets with 16 roster players set for the coming season, which gets underway on October 28.
