Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose has revealed that his knee should be fine for the playoffs after sitting out the second half against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night.
Rose revealed that he had felt soreness in his left knee a couple of weeks ago, but opted to sit out against the Hawks as a precautionary measure ahead of the playoffs.
"Just felt a little soreness in my left knee," ESPN quotes Rose as saying.
"I felt it at the end of the second quarter, so [there] ain't no point in rushing it."
Rose had a meniscectomy on his right knee in February, but has now played in five games since coming back last week after the procedure.
