Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving will return from a knee injury on Tuesday night as the Cavs take on the Atlanta Hawks.
Irving has missed the last two games with a bruised left knee after the fourth-year star felt his knee "buckle" against the Oklahoma City Thunder on December 11.
The 22-year-old re-aggravated the injury late in the fourth quarter of the Cavs' loss against the Miami Heat last Thursday as he hyper-extended his knee while trying to make a play in the paint.
Cleveland went 1-1 without Irving but his return will be significant after they suffered a heavy 23-point home loss to the Detroit Pistons on Sunday.
Irving is averaging 20.2 points and 5.3 assists in 28 games while he is shooting a career-high 47% from the field.
