Cleveland Cavaliers coach David Blatt has suggested that he shares a bond with star player LeBron James.
Some sections of the press have alluded to a one-sided relationship between the influential James and Cleveland's first-year boss, but the Israeli-American coach has moved to deny that the pair share anything less than a positive working relationship.
"People sometimes judge things on a game or on a period of time and they forget that we're in there working together and striving to make the utmost of our team and of our situation day to day and a bond develops over time that is a lot more than what meets the eye," said Blatt, according to The AP.
The Cavs lost out 4-2 to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals, with Steve Kerr's side coming from behind in the series to claim victory.
