LeBron James angry with colleges over recruiting his son

Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James criticises colleges for offering his son a scholarship at 10 years of age.

Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has revealed his anger over the fact that his son has already started receiving college offers.

James Jr is still just 10 years of age, but has already received letters and even scholarship offers from college coaches after showing early promise.

"Yeah, he's already got some offers from colleges," James told CBS Detroit.

"It's pretty crazy. It should be a violation. You shouldn't be recruiting 10-year-old kids."

The two-time NBA champion hasn't been shy to praise his son previously, as the youngster recently impressed at the John Lucas All-Star weekend.

However, James insists that he wants his son to enjoy playing basketball and criticised how early the pressure was being put on him.
