Detroit Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy believes that there is no reliable way of stopping LeBron James when he is at his best.
The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Pistons 109-97 two nights ago and James scored 21 points, leading Van Cundy to heap high praise on the 11-time All-Star.
He told reporters: "Look, if there was a way to play LeBron, then people would've figured it out and everyone would be playing him the same. I think the reason you see so many different approaches is there hasn't been anything that's consistently worked this year or throughout his career.
"That's why all the great players are the great players, is you do the best you can with your personnel, but if there was a way to play them they wouldn't be those guys."
James won two NBA titles with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013.
