Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard has revealed that he expects to return from injury against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night.
Howard has missed 10 straight games with right knee soreness but the Rockets have coped well in his absence after going 7-3.
"That's the plan," Howard told reporters of his potential return on Saturday.
"I don't want to put a date on it, but that might be the best time. We'll have a couple days of practice after [Thursday's game against Sacramento], and I should be ready to go."
Howard, who underwent platelet-rich plasma therapy last month to help restore the cartilage in his knee, was full of praise for his teammates who stepped up in his absence.
