Houston Rockets power forward Terrence Jones has warned other franchises that his side are now more physical than they were last season.
The Rockets were defeated in the playoffs by an industrious Portland Trail Blazers side, with some commentators suggesting that the Rockets weren't physically equipped enough to deal with the likes of LaMarcus Aldridge and Wesley Matthews.
"We are bigger," said Jones, according to the Houston Chronicle.
"Our core of bigs is bigger, stronger. Last year, I think we had more shooters and guys who spread the floor. This year, we are being more physical. I think it is good to have some versatility."
The Rockets open their new campaign against the Los Angeles Lakers on October 28.
