Indiana Pacers forward Paul George could be out for the whole of the 2014-15 NBA season after sustaining a horrific leg injury, according to a report.
The 24-year-old suffered a compound fracture of the tibia and fibula while playing for Team USA in an intrasquad scrimmage at UNLV.
George has had surgery on his leg and a pin inserted to stabilise the injury, but due to the severity of the damage he could miss the entirety of the 2014-15 season, reports ESPN.
The forward averaged 21.7 points per game in the 2013-14 season for the Pacers.
