Glen Davis has reportedly informed teams that he will be signing for the Los Angeles Clippers for the rest of the season.
The 28-year-old and the Orlando Magic mutually agreed to a contract buyout last week, which sparked a bidding war for his services from a number of NBA franchises looking to add to their roster ahead of the playoffs.
Davis has decided to join the Clippers on a deal for the remainder of the campaign and the move will be confirmed when he clears waivers on Sunday evening, according to Yahoo Sports.
Clippers head coach Doc Rivers will link up with Davis for the second time following a successful period together with the Boston Celtics.
The Brooklyn Nets, who were interested in signing Davis, have turned to Jason Collins after missing out on a potential deal for the former NBA champion.
