Chris Paul has said that the Los Angeles Clippers' defensive play against the Sacramento Kings will boost their confidence.
The visitors finished strongly as they looked to come from behind late on, before Paul added the winning points with 2.5 seconds left.
The guard told reporters: "We've got to put teams away and not keep being in all these dogfights.
"It was kind of fitting we won with a defensive stop because we've been trying to improve our defense. Hopefully it gives us some confidence."
The Clippers face the Chicago Bulls later today.
