Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant is continuing his recovery from a torn Achilles and delighted the crowd in China with a pre-game routine on Friday.

The 35-year-old suffered the injury at the end of the regular season last year, which forced him to miss the playoffs and has in turn ensured he has spent the entire summer in rehabilitation.

With initial reports suggesting that he will make a complete recovery, question marks still surround a possible comeback date as early speculation cited the first game of the season as a realistic target.

However, despite the clear progress Bryant has made, with the Lakers releasing a video on Twitter of his warm-up, it is highly doubtful he will be ready that early according to Pro Basketball Talk.
