The Miami Heat have confirmed the signing of former UCLA point guard Larry Drew II.
Drew has signed a non-guaranteed deal, which means that the Heat can choose to release the 23-year-old if he does not impress during the pre-season training camp.
The NBA champions may only be looking for one more player after recent reports suggested that new signing Michael Beasley will fill the 14th spot in a possible 15-man roster.
Drew, who is the son of Milwaukee Bucks head coach Larry Drew, impressed in NCAA basketball but wasn't signed by a team in this year's Draft.
