Miami Heat star LeBron James has sent a special birthday message to teammate Dwyane Wade which acknowledges their uncertain future.
Wade turned 32 on Friday, and will be looking to play his part in helping the reigning champions end a three-game losing streak against the Philadelphia 76ers.
"I came to Miami for two reasons. To play with you and to win championships and I can't thank you enough for the sacrifice you've made since I arrived homie!" James wrote in part of his message.
Along with Chris Bosh, the trio could choose to opt out of their contracts at the end of season, but they have yet to address their long-term future.
